Christmas Project - Advent Calendar

I tried working on one or two advent cards each night while I was still in school... and I finished the rest up as the vacation started. (I love being back in my scrap room!) We've had to rearrange a few of the Christmas events here and there, depending on our schedules. The girls - especially Ali - have kept us in check making sure we keep up with the cards each day/night.

And finally, all of the cards are kept in this cute little box covered in Christmas paper. I'm thinking I need a few more of these boxes... for what? I'm sure I can think of something!

I'm trying to get caught up... and get ahead! Since I go back to work next week, I'm still trying to get caught up in our scrapbooks. And, since I go back to work next week... I'm trying to get ahead... with Christmas cards. I know I'm going to hit the ground running, and it's going to be November before I can take a breath again!

Now that I look at the card, I'm wishing that was a bow instead of a knot. Oh well! :)

Since my busy life is days away from getting busier, I thought it might be a good idea to get a head start on some Christmas cards. {Also, I had the Christmas papers out for my daughter's scrapbook!} I took the easy way today by using pre-made supplies.

My goodness, we've been busy this summer. I feel like it's been a whirlwind of packing, laundry, and repacking. Needless to say, I've been MIA from my scrapbooking table. Imagine what will happen when I go back to work next week?!?
I really wanted to make a dent in my daughters' scrapbooks this summer; but with all of the traveling, I'm only up to December. {Will I ever be caught up??}
